If you are a resident of the UK between the ages of 40 and 74, we highly recommend undergoing a health check at Milborne Port Pharmacy. This check can be done for a small fee.

The health check typically takes around 30 minutes and is conducted by a healthcare professional. During this time, you will be asked a series of straightforward questions about your lifestyle and family history. Rest assured, there is no need to worry as you will not be asked any embarrassing questions or be required to remove any clothing.

During the health check, you can expect the following:

– A blood pressure test

– Measurement of your weight and height

– A finger prick blood test to check your blood sugar levelsAfter your blood pressure test, blood sugar level test, and BMI results, our pharmacist will be happy to provide lifestyle advice or recommend a visit to your GP if necessary. They may offer suggestions on how to improve your diet or increase your level and frequency of physical exercise.
